The Padma Bridge is the world’s 122nd-largest multipurpose bridge over the Padma River. Padma Bridge, officially Padma Multipurpose Bridge, is the longest bridge in Bangladesh. It was the largest and most expensive construction project in Bangladesh. The bridge, built at a cost of 30,000 crore taka, was opened for traffic on June 25, 2022.
