DBBL is planing to plant trees in a rectangular land which is 90 feet long and 66 feet wide. There is a wall of 5 feet high around the land. They decided to plant trees in row and column leaving 5 feet from the wall and the distance between trees will be 4 feet. How many maximum trees can be planted in this land?
Solution:
(90-2*5)= 80 ft long
(66-2*5)= 56 ft wide
Maximum trees can be planted =
(80/4 +1)*( 56/4 +1)= 21*15= 315 [Answer]
